Everyone knows the story: you need to mail one or two packages for a birthday or holiday. No big deal right? Well, it could become a big deal when you have to wait an eternity at your local post office.
The US Postal Service station located in Oswald’s Pharmacy was added to avoid this. What started as a service to our customers quickly grew into an operation that requires multiple team members 7 days a week.
The team members working at the US Postal Office at Oswald’s Pharmacy are not US government employees. They are Oswald’s team members looking to do the best, most efficient job for our customers and first-timers alike.

Quick and Efficient Mailing Services
Our team is trained to handle multiple customers at once. Unlike a standard US Post Office, where 1-person-at-a-time waits can take forever, the Oswald’s Postal Station is designed to be efficient. Some of the differences between a standard US Post Office and the US Post station at Oswald’s are:
- All package and stamp services located at one counter. You don’t have to find the ‘right line’ for the services you need.
- Recommendations and help concerning the best shipping methods from our experienced staff
- Packaging supplies available for purchase in-store. No more running home when you forgot tape or a Sharpie!
- Last-minute greeting cards, gifts, candy, toys, and more. Finish any gift AT the Post Office at Oswald’s.
Customer-Friendly USPS Services
When the Postal Service station at Oswald’s gets busy, we are able to add help on the fly to move letters and packages efficiently. If the person in front of you has 20 packages to send, don’t worry. Our team is trained to call for help and can even handle multiple transactions at once!
If you just need a book of stamps, our Post Office clerks can ring you up quickly without having to cancel other pending transactions. And don’t worry if you are the person sending 20 packages–our staff is trained to help you get your packages out quickly, economically, and efficiently.
The US Postal Service station at Oswald’s accepts everything from small packages in need of postage to large pre-paid packages. Package services we offer include:

Our Post Office is Open on the Weekend
The Oswald’s US Postal Service station is also open on most holidays!
That’s right. You can send letters and packages on Saturday or Sunday during store hours. Most people work during the week so the majority of their free time is during the weekend. We extended our US Post Office hours to reflect this. Come in on your next lazy Sunday and buy all the stamps you’ve been putting off for a while.
Our Post Office holiday hours are the same as the store hours. Holidays we are closed on include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. On some holidays we have shortened hours, usually closing early at 5 PM. Check our store hours for more details.
*Our only weekend pickup is Saturday at 12:30 PM. Occasionally they’ll come back for a second pick up at 5 PM during busier mailing seasons, but it’s not guaranteed. There are no pickups on Sunday. You can still visit our post office all day Saturday and Sunday during normal store hours, just remember the next pick up after Saturday will be Monday at 3:30.
