A Message From Alex March 2024

Spring is finally here even though it felt like Spring for more than a few days last month! In the last Issue of the Ozzie Gram, I wrote about our Pharmacy Manager Melissa learning from our friend in Wisconsin about all of the things you can do to better improve customer experience at an independent pharmacy, that you could never do at a chain pharmacy.

Naperville Easter Photos

That kind of mentality extends beyond just our pharmacy counter: When was the last time a bunny rabbit visited your chain pharmacy?! For the second year in a row, we’re doing our ‘vintage photo shoot’ with the Easter Bunny. Each family gets a vintage-style Polaroid photo, time to take pictures with their phones/cameras, a free photo print coupon, a goodie bag, a chance to win our Easter gift basket, and 25% of the $20.00 admission fee goes to our 2024 Community Partner NCTV17!

If you know anyone who would be interested in the event, please share it! You can find it on our website or Facebook. In April, we’ll be sponsoring another event with the DuPage Children’s Museum – Wild Wonders! At our last Children’s Museum event in February, one of our customers was attending the event with their children and said the line I’ve heard a few times: “I love your post office! It’s Naperville’s best-kept secret!” To which I always respond “Don’t keep it a secret, let people know! And if we get any busier, we can always hire more help”. Often we’ll have 2 employees working, more than the Ogden St. USPS office the last few times I’ve been.

Easter Gifts & More

As Naperville has grown, the amount of locals who grew up with the choice of 3 independent pharmacies back in the 1960s has gotten smaller. Whether it’s our post office, pharmacy, gifts & toys, or medical equipment department, if you’ve had a good experience with us, please share it with your family and friends! It’s time to introduce Ozzie’s to a new generation of Napervillians.

Make sure to check out all of our Easter gifts, including our ‘Easter Basket’ headquarters! Some great finds for everyone’s basket in the family. For other holiday needs, make sure to shop local and support your favorite shops. Speaking of local – at the end of last month Casey’s celebrated the previous owner, and friend of Ozzie’s, Dan Casey’s birthday. In his memory, we recall one of Dan’s favorite phrases “Support your local businesses and you’ll always live in a nice community”ꝶ
