COVID-19 Vaccine at Oswald’s Pharmacy

Hello! Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work our way towards becoming a COVID-19 vaccination site. Since July of 2020 we have been testing patients with EUA authorized antibody, antigen, and PCR tests. This past year, we administered thousands of flu shots and COVID-19 tests to our patients, and we are ready and eager for the challenge ahead when it comes to providing COVID-19 vaccinations to our community.

There is no clear route to procuring the vaccine at this time. That’s why we are working at multiple levels with local, state, and federal government health departments to see what our options are. The first program we signed up for was through the federal government with the CDC and our pharmacy group, Health Mart Pharmacies. The federal program will begin shipping doses during Phase 2 of Illinois’ Mass Vaccination Plan, although we do not yet know when that will commence.

As we are willing and ready to vaccinate before Illinois reaches Phase 2, we have reached out to the DuPage County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health to see if we can receive vaccine to help vaccinate the population in Phases 1b or 1c. While those conversations are ongoing, nothing is set in stone. As soon as we know more, we will update our COVID-19 Vaccine email list with the most current information available to us. What You can Do for the COVID-19 Vaccine Now

In the meantime, please fill out our JotForm here that was generously hosted for free to help in our fight against COVID-19. It asks a series of simple questions that will help us organize patient data to determine the best plan for vaccinations.

If we are able to secure vaccine doses in phase 1b or 1c, we will use the JotForm data entries to begin contacting eligible patients to set up vaccine appointments. If, for some reason, we are unable to vaccinate until Phase 2, we may switch to a different form.

As you can tell, nothing is very clear right now. Just know we are doing all we can for our patients and community when it comes to keeping everyone safe and healthy.

**We are doing our best to answer all questions,  but our pharmacy staff have been overwhelmed with phone calls regarding the vaccine. Please do not call the pharmacy with questions about when we will get the COVID-19 vaccine. Pharmacy staff cannot fill out the JotForm on anyone’s behalf, and we cannot make appointments. We will contact you as soon as we know more.
