November Message from Bill Anderson

Happy November! As this contentious election season comes to a close and families start planning for the holidays, I remain grateful to live in a country where regardless of political leanings, I am free to run a business and be a part of what makes our country great.
I’m thankful each morning when I open up the doors of my store and greet my customers. I’m thankful to be part of a family business that continues to serve a community as caring and giving as Naperville. I appreciate families that have been coming to our store since my Dad and Grandfather owned Oswald’s, and who are still customers today. I also appreciate and value brand new customers that come to us because they like to do their shopping with small, independent businesses. I agree with a phrase my granddad was fond of saying long after he retired – “You run into the nicest people at Oswald’s”. Great customers are what truly makes this store so special.
I am also thankful for the great staff I have that works so hard to make sure our customers are taken care of and treated as if they were family. I’m thankful for the generations that preceded me at Oswald’s and extremely thankful that two of my children now work in the business. Happy and healthy Thanksgiving to all!
