A Message From Alex November 2022

October was a busy month around Oswalds: We celebrated 4th generation owner Bob Anderson’s 91st Birthday on the 19th, hosted a Halloween event at the Plaza on the 29th, and participated in a Naperville Park District Halloween event on the 30th all while the pharmacy staff was keeping extra busy with ‘flu shot season’ – which is now twice as busy with COVID-19 boosters!

If you haven’t gotten your flu shot or COVID-19 booster, make sure to stop by and soon and get caught up. Better late than never! We’re still offering walk-in flu shots 10 AM-7 PM on weekdays, and 10 AM-5 PM on weekends. You can sign up for COVID-19 boosters on our website at oswaldspharmacy.com.

Holiday Gifts

Our retail team has been working extra hard to make sure we’re fully stocked up for the holidays! We’ve placed orders far in advance to ensure we have an ample supply of gifts, games, and toys this season. Along with Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, gift wrap, and candy. As always we’ll have a unique assortment of items covering all your holiday needs from stocking stuffers to those hard-to-shop-for family members!

Speaking of shopping, a great day to do that would be on our Customer Appreciation Day, Saturday, December 3rd. We’re going to be offering 14.7% off all Gift, Game, Book, Toy and Puzzle purchases to celebrate 147 years in business! We’ll also have some giveaways, activities for kids, and snacks and refreshments. Get some of your holiday shopping done early and support one of Naperville’s oldest small businesses! We hope to see you then.

Is the approaching holiday season causing a headache? Read our Pharmacist Joanna’s column below about the difference be- tween headaches and migraines, and see our lovely display featuring headache remedies at the pharmacy counter all month long! Have a wonderful November and we’ll see you soon! ℞
