Great Spring Toys

Spring weather is finally here, so it’s time to take a look at some great new toys and activities for kids to enjoy outdoors. Oswald’s has been one of Naperville’s favorite toy stores for years. Our gift buyers have been selecting great activities and toys that are a lot of fun and easy on parents for almost 150 years.

Let’s take a look at some of our favorite toys and activities for kids this spring. The next sections will be divided into toys for the different age groups for your convenience. Find the age group you need a great toy or activity for and see what would make a great spring gift for the children in your life!

Toys for Young Children (up to 3 years)

These toys are great for kids under 3 years of age. Some of the toys may require adult setup or supervision.

Good Banana Bubble Machines

This portable bubble machine looks like a cute cupcake and will provide hours of fun for young children at a barbeque, birthday party or simply playing in your backyard. 3 AA batteries can be used to take the party anywhere without worrying about outlets.

2 bottles of bubble solution are included with each bubble machine, making it ready to use out of the box. Batteries for wireless use are not included.

Chalksters

Sidewalk chalk can be difficult for younger children to use. It can be hard to grasp or put enough pressure on to create drawings like they see their parents or older siblings making. Eliminate the frustration by giving them an easy way to hold up to 3 pieces of chalk at once!

Another great outdoor activity from Melissa & Doug! Seek & Find Bingo turns any backyard into a giant seek and find puzzle. Erasable markers are used on the included checklists to mark progress.

Seek & Find Bingo is also a great team experience. Put younger children on teams with big kids (or adults) and teach them how fun exploration can be!
