When helping customers at the store, one of my favorite things to hear is “this store is so unique! It’s unlike any other drugstore I’ve ever been in.” It’s even more exciting to hear it from a teenager or young parent who lives in town. While a lot of our customers have grown up in Naperville, this town’s population has exploded over the past few decades. When a new family moves into town, many think a chain drugstore is their only option for prescriptions.
We are extremely happy to be the one independent store in Naperville where patients can “unchain” themselves from the big box stores. Did you know that in Illinois there are still 553 independent pharmacies, compared to 919 chain stores? Independent pharmacies are far from extinct—and for a good reason!

What I’ve learned from my father, grandfather, and great grandfather growing up, is that being a part of the community is essential. We’re not here to just fill a prescription, we’re here to take care of your family, and our community at large.
I still meet customers who remember calling my grandfather at 2 o’clock in the morning because their child was sick and needed a prescription filled. My Grandpa would drive Downtown Naperville, fill the script, and deliver it to their home. To this day we still offer FREE prescription delivery to our customers in Naperville.

That being said… I want to thank all of you who have trusted my family to support your family over the years. It’s an honor, and we don’t take that lightly. That’s why I’m extremely proud to be running my family’s business, as our 6th generation! Next time you hear someone gripe about long lines at their chain pharmacy, or the fact their pharmacist doesn’t have the time to talk with them, please remind them that ‘small town’ mentality and service still exist in our very large city.
