Deliveries From Oswald’s

Deliveries From Oswald’s

Over the past few years our medical equipment section has grown at a rapid pace. A side effect of this is the expansion of our delivery options. Many medical equipment products are large, complicated or both, and require expert setup.

We still deliver prescriptions and everyday items as well, but with a separate delivery team. Each service is staffed with drivers who know how to handle any special requests or setup of any product they are taking out. There are several delivery methods available and we’re going to go over all of them.

Naperville Deliveries

Any prescription or over-the-counter delivery to a Naperville address is free. We have been serving Naperville since 1875 and deliver 5 days a week for no charge to Naperville residents.

Large product deliveries (power lift recliners, mobility scooters, etc.) are accompanied by a delivery fee, which includes, unboxing, thorough inspection, product assembly, and setup if applicable. Our certified technicians are happy to help with training on the new product as well.

Surrounding Town Deliveries

Staying in business for almost 150 years in the same town makes you pretty familiar with the surrounding towns. We offer delivery and setup of all medical equipment to surrounding towns at very reasonable rates. Towns we deliver to almost every day include Aurora, Lisle, Downer’s Grove, Warrenville, Woodridge, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Romeoville and Wheaton.

Our delivery routes cover a 30-plus mile radius. From Chicago to Dekalb, Joliet to Elign, and anywhere in between.

Power Lift Recliners and Mobility Scooters are our most popular delivery products outside of Naperville, and this is for a good reason.

Our Delivery Process

We’re not going to go over OTC or prescription deliveries to Naperville—those are easy. Sign and pay if necessary, then take your products. This section is going to go over large delivery items.

After an item is purchased an Oswald’s sales representative will go over delivery (or pickup) options. Rates differ from town to town, so a power lift recliner delivery to Chicago will cost a bit more than a mobility scooter delivery to Aurora.

The cost of delivery always includes setup from our trained team members. Stairs, narrow hallways and other obstacles are treated as a standard delivery (although we appreciate a heads-up for any out of the ordinary obstructions!). Our team can also help rearrange furniture, but please keep in mind we are not movers—any expensive furniture or sculptures should be moved beforehand.

After a product is set up your delivery team will make sure you understand how the product works. This includes an in-home demo of all product features and best practices. If you have any questions, please ask them in person. We can always answer questions over the phone, but showing you in person is the best way to resolve issues.

All garbage will be taken by our delivery team, so you don’t have to worry about excessive left-over cardboard or packing plastic. We are able to take old recliners or beds with us to dispose, for a fee. If you would like us to remove your old recliner, please let us know ahead of time. Our team may be unable to take a spur-of-the-moment chair with them if the van is filled with other deliveries.

Out of Area Deliveries

Sometimes we have customers who have a need outside of our service area. Power lift recliners and mobility scooters can be tough to transport on your own, especially if you want them to stay in a shipping box. Thankfully some of our vendors can help out with remote shipments.

Golden Technologies and Pride Mobility, two of our trusted partners, both offer excellent premium shipping packages that include delivery, setup, tutorials and cleanup. Both companies personally vouch for the qualifications and expertise of these delivery teams—we have heard nothing but good things from our customers.

Out of area shipping and setup is available on most lift recliners and all mobility scooters. Our online store lists all available options for products and delivery packages.

We can ship all non-prescription products anywhere in the US, but most will not include setup. If you have any questions, please call or email us at info@oswaldspharmacy.com .

Best Delivery and Setup Practices

All of our delivery team members are trained to follow the best industry practices and standards. They come out to help you, not just deliver and setup a product. Any questions you have will be answered, along with some tips and things to watch out for based on the layout of your house or apartment.

Here at Oswald’s we pride ourselves on our customer service. Every one of our customers is important to us. All deliveries or shipments, regardless of distance, we send out will be backed up by our in-store staff. Our medical equipment staff consists of experts on many different product lines—you will find the answer you’re looking for!

Let Us Know What You Need

At the end of the day we are still in business because of our customers. We are here for you! If you need special services or have an extraordinary delivery situation, let us know. Helping our customers figure out solutions to their problems is a service we offer at no charge.

Contact us if you have any questions or need specifics on your situation.
