The Golden Buzzaround EX is the most popular mobility scooter we have in stock. Available in 3 or 4-wheeled versions, the EX can handle any balance or stability needs you have. The 3-wheel version has a fantastic turn radius, a perfect choice if the user is going to be traversing narrow paths. The 4-wheel version sacrifices turn radius and a bit of foot room for stability. If you are comfortable with your balance, the 3-wheel model is the obvious choice.
Easy to Use, Easy to Transport
The Buzzaround EX is one of the most portable scooters on the market, but the portability does not come at the cost of function. Many ‘portable’ scooters only get 8 to 10 miles out of a full battery charge. The EX gets an average of 18 miles to a charge. The EX manages double the battery life by splitting the total load into 2 slightly smaller batteries. Each battery in the EX weighs about ¾ of what a traditional mid-size scooter battery weighs.
Aside from the batteries, the Buzzaround EX also manages to be extremely portable by splitting into 5 pieces. Breaking down into 5 pieces takes the Buzzaround from one 148 lb. piece, to 5 separate pieces weighing an average of 30 lbs. The process of breaking the EX down and putting it back together is incredibly simply—an expert can do it in under 30 seconds!
All the Features of a Full-Size Mobility Scooter
While taking the EX apart you might notice the yellow springs around all the wheels. These coils are actually shock absorbers. This mobility scooter really is a heavy-duty model in a smaller body! The EX can smoothly drive over thresholds, low curbs—even gravel paths—without inconveniencing the driver. With a 4” ground clearance, the Buzzaround EX is meant to handle longer excursions.

Long trips are no problem for the EX. With a 330 lb. weight capacity and the option for a larger 20” seat, this scooter can handle anyone. The 3-wheel model is perfect for taller people as it allows the rider to stretch his or her legs out. For the real adventurous among us, there is a bumper option available on the EX.
