This December we celebrate our 10th year in Naperville Plaza! It doesn’t seem possible that a decade has gone by so quickly. As I look around the Plaza I see a few new stores, and the wonderful addition of First Community Bank of Naperville. However, the anchor business’s that were here ten years ago are still here. Casey’s Foods, Trader Joes, Colonial Café, Firestone, Succulent Seafood, Great Harvest and Sherwin Williams are all still making the Plaza what I consider to be the best in town. This great mix of retail and service businesses is what continually reminds me of what downtown Naperville was like when I started working for my Dad in the late 70’s.

For me, the holidays have always been a fun time of year to be in retail. After over 40 years in the pharmacy, I still love the hustle and bustle, taking care of longtime customers and greeting new ones. Alecia, my and gift and toy buyer extraordinaire, has done a fabulous job this year of getting some really unique and interesting items for kids from 1 to 92!
