October 2013

If you haven’t seen me recently at the store, it’s because as my grandfather would have said, “I’ve been out loafing”. Actually, I had some surgery on my left shoulder in mid September and  the recuperation period is ongoing. My wife, Nicki, thinks I am being a wimp, but I prefer to think of myself as overly sensitive. Not being able to use my left arm or hand has given me a whole new perspective on our customers who come in looking for something to help them deal with daily living and mobility issues. We have literally hundreds of items in the store that can help a patient with many of the daily activities we all take for granted until something happens to set you back. Whether you have a little arthritis, just had joint replacement surgery or just aren’t as steady as you used to be, we have something in the store to help you out. Be sure to ask one of our pharmacy staff if you have any questions!

Also, don’t miss our 2nd annual Plaza Family Fall Festival on October 26th! The event last year was a huge hit, especially the hayrides. This year we have added some new activities for the whole family. At our store we will be giving free glitter tattoos, giving away free trick or treat bags and demonstrating  a new children’s craft painting line called Glob! We will also have back by popular demand our instant snow – Snow to Go! We hope to see you on the 26th – it will be fun for everyone!!
