March 2014

If you stop in the store in the next couple of weeks and see what looks like a new manager in the in the aisles of Ozzies you will be mistaken. I am sure many of you know Alecia, who has been with us full time now for almost ten years now, (as well as working at the old store when she was in high school). Well, this past weekend she went to Elegante Salon here in Naperville and had 18 inches of her hair cut off and donated it to CWHL. CWHL is short for children with hair loss and is a Michigan non profit that helps children who have lost their hair. Originally set up to help cancer patients they now supply children hair for any medically related hair loss. They supply over 300 children annually with a customized human hair replacement and care kit – at absolutely no charge! You can find out more about them at www.childrenwithhairloss.us.

This is the third time Alecia has donated her hair to help those who have lost theirs. This last 18 inches took her only 16 months to grow! Kudos to you Alecia!!

And speaking of Alecia….Most of the new Spring gift and home merchandise she selected at the Atlanta Gift Show has come in and is now on display. Next time your in the store make sure you take a look through the gift and toy section and see what’s new – And also give her a pat on the back for  helping others in need!
